Chad J. Waynik
WAYNIK – Chad, J., 35, Annapolis, Md., formerly of Richland Township, passed
away April 12, 2009, in Annapolis. He was born on May 26, 1973, in
Johnstown, son of Joseph A. and Maria D. (Barron) Waynik, both of Richland
Township. He is preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Michael and
Helen Barron; godmother, Linda Barron; and cousins, Jeremy and Katie Barron.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his paternal grandparents,
Joseph and Sue Waynik, Richland Township; loving sister, Erika Waynik,
Annapolis, Md.; loving brothers, Greg and Adam Waynik, both of Annapolis,
Md.; aunts and uncles, his godfather, Tom (Maureen) Barron, Dean (Kathy
Barron) Crist, Richard Barron, Helene Barron, Michael (Cynthia) Barron,
Helen Torquato, David Waynik and Robert (Roberta) Waynik; and cousins, Lisa
Barron, Michael, Danielle, Christopher, and Johnathan Barron, Jason and
Megan Barron, Michael Barron, Lauren, Erin, and Johnathan Crist, Caitlin
Crist-Skula and Brock and Julia Waynik. Chad was employed by Goodmann
Networks, Plano, Texas, as a database analyst for 6 years. He traveled
throughout the United States extensively. Chad was a graduate of University
of Pittsburgh at Johnstown and a member of the Delta Sigma Chi fraternity.
He was a foosball champ, enjoyed riding his waverunner, playing the lottery
and visiting casinos throughout the United States. Chad will be remembered
for his incredible sense of humor and good mood which could always make you
laugh no matter what the situation. He had a heart of GOLD which showed in
so many ways by putting his family first. Chad was their rock. He will be
sadly missed by dear friends Mike Eppley, Peter Batdorf, Chris Hansen and
numerous fraternity brothers and close friends. Family and friends will be
received from 2 to 8 p.m. Thursday, April 16, 2009, at The Harris Funeral
Home, 500 Cherry Lane, Richland, where vigil for the deceased will be held.
Funeral Mass will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday, April 17, 2009, at St.
Benedict Catholic Church, Bedford Street, Johnstown.
Committal will be at St. Joseph Mausoleum. Mass envelopes will be available
at the funeral home.
